My Design Process

For this process, I wanted to make sure the students were involved as much as possible. During production we took the time to go through each part of the process and address what we were doing and why. My goal for this production was to create a curious space both on stage and behind the scenes. To achieve this, I held lessons throughout the process on topics that interested the kids. This included an intro to scenic design, how to build a flat, shop safety, budgeting, and intro to scenic painting lessons and more. As well as creating opportunities for student-lead projects.

Please note that for this project I only had free resources available to me such as Sketchup and Adobe Sketch.
